In general, high frequency machines are often used in various industries, for example, PVC and PU products must be welded by high frequency machines. The use of high frequency welding machine manufacturing method of common products with tarpaulins, tents, ceilings, outdoor advertising banners, water beds, inflatable boats, drip irrigation and blood bag, tension structure, conveyer belt, rain suits etc..
The principle of high frequency machine welding is electric heating based on the medium to be welded. The material is placed between two metal plates (electrodes), and the subsequent high frequency voltage is connected to a plastic sheet. The result is that the molecules in the material begin to vibrate, and the molecules are quickly transported to the heat to heat up to the melting temperature. The two layers of material, passing through the high frequency current and pressing together, melt together and form a welding joint that can bear strong tension.
The advantage of high frequency welding is welding speed: in a few seconds, high frequency welding is heated from the inside of the material and fast melting.
Other welding methods (with fine wire, hot air or infrared radiation) are compared with the high frequency welding method, and the heat of other welding methods must be supplemented from the outside. This means that heat must first penetrate the material to make the plastic melt enough to form welding. The main risk of this welding method is to burn the top layer of the welding material, that is to say, the surface deformation of the welding material is easy.
In high frequency magnetic fields, some materials produce more heat than others, and are therefore more suitable for high-frequency welding. This is the result of a high frequency field in which the molecules of a certain material allow themselves to vibrate. This is called the loss factor of the material. The greater the loss factor of the material, the more easy it is to use high frequency equipment to weld the material. Especially easy to weld thermoplastic plastics such as PVC and PU; these materials are specially welded by high frequency welder. Hard plastics such as PE are hard to be welded by high frequency methods.
